After installing application turn on your defender. now you have to check whether IDM EXTENSION IS ADDED OR NOT to your browser here i use chrome so go to the extension and check whether IDM extension is added or not . you can see like this idm extension is enabled. if it is not enabled enable it so that you can get pop up icon for download option .
